Promote Feedback

Promote feedback to copy selected feedback from previous versions to the current version. Promoted feedback can then be flagged and resolved, edited, or marked as needing further changes.

Before you can promote any feedback, make sure you have versioned an asset so that it has least two versions (one previous and one current).

Your Review role must have the following permission(s) set to Yes:

• Promote comments
• Edit their own Asset comments
• Edit any Asset comments

To promote feedback:

1. Open the previous version of an asset in the Proofing Workspace.
2. Click the Feedback side panel to display the comments.
3. Click the chevron > Promote.
4. Open the current asset version in the Proofing Workspace.
   ConceptShare displays the promoted comment with a status of Pending.

   Note: While the comment is pending, it is visible only to the comment author and promoter.

   You have the option to click Flag to update the flags and resolutions, or use the Edit option from the chevron drop-down list to edit annotations or comments.
5. On the pending feedback, click the chevron > Publish to make the feedback visible to all of the reviewers.
